CWS Cleanrooms has begun construction on two advanced cleanroom suites, ISO Class 7 and ISO Class 5, at its Dublin facility.
The development will add over 240 sqm of space to the Dublin site, boosting total capacity to more than 550 sqm.
This expansion will enable CWS Cleanrooms to support a wider range of advanced contamination-controlled applications, from sterile packaging to high-precision processing.
The Dublin expansion complements CWS Cleanrooms’ established operations at its sister facility in Spiddal.
Construction is already underway, and the expansion is expected to be completed in 2026.
This expansion is being delivered in collaboration with Stewart Construction, SRBA Group, ABN Cleanroom Technology NV, Metec Consulting Engineers, and TOT Architects.
The Dublin expansion follows a series of recent CWS Cleanrooms investments across Europe, including a Cleanroom Academy campus in Germany in 2023, to enhance workforce training in gowning, airlocking, and contamination control.
At the same time, CWS has broadened its textile‑support network with new ISO Class 5 cleanroom laundries in Eindhoven and Burghausen, Germany.
