ABN Cleanroom Technology has completed the installation of examination lights and equipment pendants in the operating rooms at the new day-care hospital at Imeldaziekenhuis Bonheiden in Belgium.
The work forms part of ABN’s ORiQS approach to fully integrated operating room environments, bringing together cleanroom technology and medical systems within the clinical space.
The installation provides the operating rooms with examination lighting and equipment pendants to support clinical activities and day-to-day use of the facilities.
ABN worked with Poels NV throughout the project.
The company said the collaboration resulted in the completed installation at the new hospital, which has been developed to provide day-care services.
The project is an example of ABN’s work integrating specialist cleanroom and medical equipment within healthcare environments, alongside its wider portfolio of controlled-environment projects.
Other recent ABN projects
The installation follows two recent ABN projects in Europe this summer.
The company has started construction of a new cleanroom and practical teaching facility for Belgian training organisation ViTalent, while also completing a cleanroom facility in Spain for aerospace company Kreios Space.
