ABN Cleanroom Technology has completed an upper-level ceiling installation and floor tracking, and is advancing wall and window installation for new ISO Class 5 and ISO Class 7 suites

ABN Cleanroom Technology, in collaboration with Brecon Cleanroom Systems, has reached a construction milestone for two new ISO Class 5 and ISO Class 7 cleanroom suites for CWS Cleanrooms in Dublin.

According to ABN, the upper-level ceiling installation and floor tracking have been finalised, while wall and window installation is now in full progress across the site.

The project will also incorporate a VIX-based energy-saving air treatment system as part of the facility’s next development stage.

Construction of the two new cleanroom suites began last November, and the extension will add over 240 sqm of space to the existing Dublin site, boosting total capacity to more than 550 sqm.

This expansion will enable CWS Cleanrooms to support a wider range of advanced contamination-controlled applications, from sterile packaging to high-precision processing.

The Dublin expansion complements CWS Cleanrooms’ established operations at its sister facility in Spiddal.

The new cleanroom complex is being delivered using a Configure-to-Order+ approach, combining standardised modular building elements with project-specific flexibility to meet operational and technical requirements.

Other companies included in the project team are Stewart Construction, SRBA Group, Metec Consulting Engineers and TOT Architects.

According to the project team, each stage of the construction process reflects the integration of precision engineering, energy efficiency and adaptable cleanroom design.
