ABN Cleanroom Technology has delivered a modular softcube cleanroom for Exolaunch to support satellite integration and preparation activities at the launch services provider’s facility in Berlin.

Headquartered in Germany, Exolaunch provides satellite launch mission management, integration and deployment technologies for commercial space missions.

The company said the additional cleanroom infrastructure will strengthen its integration capabilities as launch activity and product demand continue to increase.

According to Exolaunch, the upgraded facility will support satellite preparation under the standards required for complex launch campaigns and higher launch cadence operations.

The controlled environment supplied by ABN Cleanroom Technology was configured to meet the specifications required for satellite integration and mission-critical preparation processes.

Exolaunch said the expanded cleanroom infrastructure will enhance operational readiness at its Berlin base and provide additional capacity for launch preparation activities.

“Our Configure-to-Order (CTO+) allowed us to quickly provide a controlled environment, getting operational within 3 days,” said Jo Nelissen, CEO of ABN Cleanroom Technology.

ABN’s CTO+ is a modular, high-speed approach to designing and building validated cleanrooms for industries like semiconductor and pharma.

The Belgium-based company uses the ADAPTUS product platform to deliver reliable, energy-efficient environments faster than traditional methods, with a focus on speed, sustainability, and budget

The Exolaunch project reflects continued investment in specialist cleanroom infrastructure to support the growing demands of the commercial space sector and satellite launch operations.
