T-SQUARED has completed the design phase and moved into delivery of a new Quantum Innovation Centre for quantum technology company Infleqtion in Oxford.
The facility marks a significant expansion for Infleqtion’s UK operations, with the new centre set to triple the company’s research and manufacturing capabilities.
Infleqtion has been investing in the UK for more than a decade, with the Oxford development representing its largest move in the country to date.
The company operates out of Oxford to build neutral-atom quantum computers, un-jammable quantum navigation and timing systems, and optical atomic clocks designed for defense, aerospace, and national infrastructure use.
The project will provide expanded facilities to support the company’s work in quantum technologies, adding to Oxford’s growing cluster of businesses and research organisations operating in the sector.
T-SQUARED said the project had now progressed from design into the delivery phase, with the Quantum Innovation Centre intended to support Infleqtion’s continued growth in the UK.
The development comes as Oxford continues to strengthen its position as a major centre for the UK’s quantum industry, with investment in new research, development and manufacturing infrastructure supporting the commercialisation of quantum technologies.
T-SQUARED also recently completed another project in Oxford, a refurbishment programme at OXB's Windrush Court headquarters.
The project, completed in May, involved technical refurbishment works within laboratory areas, support spaces, controlled interfaces and associated building services.
