Why build ISO 7 cleanrooms for PV generation one after another?

Published: 21-Oct-2024

Increasing demand for renewable energy drives the need for more cleanroom capacity in photovoltaic generation

As climate change becomes more acute and the UN 2030 agenda seems to be delayed for sure, the urgent needs for and increasing attraction to other renewable energies have risen dramatically, especially the photovoltaic generation system. China, among all the countries in the world, makes strides in this regard, allocating millions of dollars to companies engaged in developing and manufacturing solar cells. Following the construction of a modular cleanroom for PV generation a few months ago, we are asked to build another ISO 7 cleanroom to adapt their capacity expansion.

What is needed?

During the design stage, it was made clear that the cleanroom should be controlled area by area. Therefore, the cleanroom is divided into three zones, each separately controlled according to shift arrangement. In this way, energy can be saved efficiently. It is also necessary to maintain a stable temperature at 20-26°C, not only providing a comfortable workspace for employees but also keeping a controlled production environment to ensure product quality. In addition, the cleanroom is equipped with recirculating fan filter units that can capture dust particles to maintain ISO 7 class and recirculate the return air back into the cleanroom, reducing energy consumption in the long run.

How Airkey delivers

We provide turnkey services, from design to construction. We have the capability to customize the cleanroom based on customer preference. After the manufacturing process, we normally install the cleanroom in our factory to test and eliminate any possible problems that may occur during construction.

Apart from factory assembly, we also boast a complete set of testing machines. As we all know, cleanliness is of utmost importance. Our LIGHTHOUSE particle counter will check for you whether the cleanroom meets the performance. Illuminance, airflow, and other parameters can also be measured as long as you are concerned.
