Anti-bacterial formula is mixed into the PC+ABS plastic so that the housing itself has anti-bacterial properties that are not reduced even when sterilised with alcohol swabs on a regular basis.
The Eaton Socon, Cambridgeshire-based firm says the anti-bacterial plastic suppresses the growth of up to 99.999% of bacteria, when tested over a 24-hour period.
A “Clean Me” function allows the user to disable the panel PC’s touch function for three minutes when cleaning is required. Alongside this, a full flat touchscreen is offered with the product, featuring easy wipe surfaces with no internal corners.
The device also supports PCI expansion and is RoHS compliant. The screen is a 19in, 1,280 x 1,024 LCD panel with a high performance Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor.
