Device is compact and easy to clean

The Microsart e.motion filter dispenser from Sartorius Stedim UK automatically dispenses a single sterile ready-to-use filter membrane. This can be done by simply pressing a button, or by setting it to operate hands free where a dispensing operation is triggered when the optical sensor detects approaching tweezers.

Microbiologists have the advantage of easy handling of membrane filters, reduced risk of cross-contamination, speedier experimental times and a constant clear workspace with this benchtop device, the company says.

Special features of the Microsart e.motion include a compact and easy to clean design, a fully automated system, its light weight for reliable transport and special pleated filter membrane band for reliable and uniform dispensing.
