The Ducted Ceiling Module (DCM), a terminal filter for use in T-bar drop ceilings with central air, has been launched under the Envirco brandname by US company Fedders Indoor Air Quality (FIAQ).

The disposable unit is said to be inexpensive and easily replaceable, and is aimed at a wide range of industry sectors, including semiconductors, aerospace, laboratory, medical device manufacturing, photographic processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing and hospital pharmacies. Produced at FIAQ's new world-class manufacturing facility in Suzhou in China, the modular unit has an anodised extruded aluminium housing and offers filtered air from Class 10 to Class 100. It is available in the standard 2x4 HEPA configuration, weighs less than 15.8kg, is less than 194mm tall and has an inlet duct size diameter of 305mm. Options available include a room-side replaceable feature and an air damper.
