Single Use Support has expanded its existing site in Hall in Tirol, Austria, with new ISO Class 7 cleanrooms.
The move triples the company’s manufacturing capacity for fluid management solutions used in the biopharmaceutical industry.
“The increased cleanroom capacity is part of our ongoing investment in fluid management capabilities and innovation. It will facilitate even faster delivery, consistent product quality, and the flexibility our customers need to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market,” said Darren Verlenden, CEO of Single Use Support.
The expansion will allow the company to deliver single-use assemblies at faster delivery times, after an increase in the global demand for high-quality single-use consumables from biopharma manufacturers.
Four years after commissioning its first cleanrooms, the expansion marks another milestone in Single Use Support’s rapid growth trajectory.
The new facility will allow them to support the demand for sterile single-use consumables that are used to safely handle, freeze, store and transfer high-value drug substances.
The expanded ISO Class 7 cleanroom facility was constructed to meet stringent GMP-relevant quality standards and to scale for diverse production needs.
“Our operational teams are proud to leverage this expanded facility,” said Christian Praxmarer, Chief Operating Officer of Single Use Support. “This expansion enables us to confidently meet growing customer demand, ensuring security of supply, faster delivery timelines, and uncompromised quality at every stage of production.”
