The WhiteBox Alliance, a collaborative platform of over 40 specialist partners focused on ultra‑cleanliness, has been formally established in France
The collective aims to address real‑world cleanroom and contamination challenges across industrial and technology sectors.
The alliance operates a permanent showroom and cleanroom facility hosted at Puces Technologies Semiconducteurs in Villard‑Bonnot, Isère, France.
The showroom serves as an operational centre for demonstration, training and solution validation.
The facility comprises a fully‑equipped cleanroom, including characterisation tools, partner showcases, and meeting or training spaces designed to help industrial users assess and implement qualified cleanroom technologies and processes.
The initiative is funded in part by the Région Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes and the French Government under Plan France 2030 to strengthen the domestic industrial ecosystem’s capacity to respond to contamination control needs.
Who are the members of the alliance?
WhiteBox Alliance’s membership includes a breadth of providers spanning cleanroom solutions and equipment, chemical contaminant analysis, metrology and monitoring, engineering and consulting services, integrators and digital traceability systems, and high‑precision process and chemistry specialists.
Alliance partners say the collective’s “one‑stop‑shop” approach lets end users, from small and medium-sized enterprises and deeptech start-ups to large industrial groups, access complementary cleanroom expertise and technologies in a single collaborative framework.
The collective includes members such as MAFAC France, which provides industrial parts for cleaning, and others active in contamination control and cleanroom process support.
The WhiteBox Alliance is expected to soon participate in major trade exhibitions and expand its collaborative activities into demonstrator projects aimed at industrial adoption of advanced cleanroom methodologies.
