Healthcare investment company GHO Capital has acquired the API manufacturer for an undisclosed sum

British API manufacturer Sterling Pharma Solutions has been acquired by GHO Capital, a healthcare investment company based in London.

Headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), Sterling provides API development and manufacturing to pharma companies.

Sterling delivers a full-service offering of API development and GMP manufacturing to support its customers throughout the entire product lifecycle. The Company is a provider of specialist services from clinical development through market launch to commercial supply.

GHO Capital has extensive sectoral expertise and networks in the global pharmaceutical and animal health industries, which will be put to support management in accelerating Sterling’s international growth.

Sterling's acquisition is the second in a raw for GHO Capital. The company announced the acquisition of Validant, a quality, compliance and regulatory affairs consulting firm, operating globally.
