MRC has been awarded a contract to design & build a cleanroom facility for Cleveland Clinic, a healthcare service provider based in Abu Dhabi. Part of Mubadala Health's network of healthcare facilities, Cleveland Clinic is a multispecialty hospital on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The company was contracted to design, supply, and install its glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) cleanroom system. It provided the GRP cleanroom panelling system along with GRP doors (both swing and sliding doors) and complementary integrated accessories and products including transfer hatch (pass box) and windows.
The project is currently in the installation stage and expected to be completed by Q2. Owing to the project’s complexity, the design stage was detailed, requiring an expert design team, which MRC says it was able to provide.
The company says its ‘vast experience’ in building cleanrooms for healthcare facilities across Europe and the Middle East contributed to its winning this contract.
