G-CON Manufacturing, the global specialist in off-site prefabricated cleanroom systems, has announced that Dr Anne Jones has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Jones brings over 25 years of management experience, having led businesses and teams in life sciences, healthcare and cell therapy companies. She takes over following the retirement of G-CON’s long-time CEO, Maik Jornitz.
“Under Maik’s leadership, G-CON has grown to be the industry leader for prefabricated cleanrooms, and we thank Maik for his contributions to the team and the industry,” said Gus Salem, Chair of G-CON’s board of directors. “The board is excited to welcome Anne to lead this company in its important next phase of growth. She is a proven business leader with a demonstrated track history in leading and scaling businesses in diverse markets.”
Prior to G-CON, Jones held leadership positions at Pall Corporation (Danaher), Agilent Technologies and GE Healthcare Life Sciences (now Cytiva), as well as holding C-suite positions at genomics and cell therapy innovator companies. Anne’s broad experiences include general management, strategy, and business development, as well as COO and CBO roles. Anne will lead G-CON through its next phase of growth, focused on serving its global client base, reinforcing its product offering, and exploring new areas for expansion of the business.
“I am honoured to lead the talented team at G-CON and to continue scaling and growing this business,” said Jones. “This company serves a breadth of cleanroom markets and is uniquely positioned to enable solutions that accelerate the provision of emerging drug modalities including mRNA vaccines and cell and gene therapies to patients. G-CON’s strong history in delivery of cleanroom PODs across pharma, biotech, and CDMO customers has been proven to bring new FDA-cleared medicines to market quickly and efficiently.”
