LCS Constructors has completed the installation of two modular hardwall cleanrooms covering a combined 6,000 sqft for an unnamed company specialising in wound healing.

The project involved installing wall and ceiling systems, doors and pass-throughs, alongside high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) fan filter units and lighting.

LCS Constructors also installed heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) modules, room sensors and door interlocks, and positioned 14 biosafety cabinets within the facilities.

The contractor said it worked closely with the cleanroom manufacturer and the client team throughout the installation, adjusting systems until they had been signed off.

The company has not disclosed the client’s name, the location of the installation or the cleanroom classifications achieved by the two facilities.
