Vaisala has introduced the HMT320 series for measuring relative humidity and associated variables in process and environmental test applications.
The series includes six interchangeable probes, a separate transmitter body and mounting plate. Calibration information is held in the probe interface, eliminating the need for recalibrating the transmitter module when a probe is replaced. Different probe heads are suitable for use in temperatures down to -700°C and up to 1800°C in vacuum and pressure up to 100 bar. There is a choice of sensors and filters for different applications and a chemical purge option helps to maintain accuracy and stability in environments where high concentrations of chemicals are present. Optional output variables include dewpoint and mixing ratio.
