CRC resolves to strengthen manufacturing sector client base in 2013
Start of new year sees completion of £1m contract
Clean Room Construction has strengthened its position as a leading cleanroom design and build specialist for the manufacturing sector, after welcoming in the new year with the completion of a £1m contract for a global power systems company.
The completion of the sensitive project for a prestigious client in Derby is another feather in the cap for CRC as it continues to build an impressive portfolio of manufacturing sector clients. CRC has also recently completed a £3.7m project in Cheshire for a pioneering medical technology company, designing and building cleanrooms for end-to-end woundcare product manufacturing processes.
The Derby project has been part of a wider regeneration of an extensive manufacturing facility and has involved the design, build and testing of three containment rooms in a challenging environment. One of the containment rooms has been designed and constructed without a fixed roof while another incorporates a retractable roof. The rooms also feature dedicated air handling systems and high volume dust extraction.
CRC Director Steve Lawton said: ‘Clean Room Construction has kicked off the new year by successfully delivering another tailor-made containment solution for a prestigious client in the manufacturing sector.
‘One of our new year resolutions is to make sure we remain the number one choice for clients in this competitive sector by continuing to design and build first class facilities which reliably protect the integrity of complex manufacturing processes.’
