Burkert UK is extending the scope of its recent free Hygienic Processing Training courses with a series of mobile clinics that are dedicated to customer-specific issues in hygienic processing. Similar to seminars, but customised to whatever issues the customer wants to discuss, the clinics are provided on site at customers' premises - at a time that suits them - by technical experts in Hygienic Processing in 30-minute rolling presentations.
‘We are fully aware of how difficult it is for key personnel to get away from site to discuss crucial hygienic processing issues, so we came up with the solution of "bite-sized" clinics that can educate and inform process engineers at their own sites and at times that are convenient for them,’ said Ian Webster, Burkert UK's national hygienic processing manager.
‘The take-up of our ongoing training courses in hygienic processing has revealed the high demand for the type of solutions-based informational training that we are providing. Now, with the introduction of free mobile clinics, we can take the solutions-based approach to much wider audiences, and can tailor our content to suit the nature and problems of each individual business.’
The clinics address such key issues as compliance considerations in hygienic processing, and achieving higher process yields, cleanability and optimum process flexibility. They consider solutions for keeping modern hygienic processing plant clean and safe, including critical measurements & considerations, and what measures process companies can take to save money in their washing cycles.
Each customer-specific clinic can be coupled, where appropriate, with a practical workshop, Burkert having invested heavily in a comprehensive mobile facility that displays leading-edge solutions in process valves, sensors, flow meters, positioners and integrated systems, plus the BBS sterile range of ancillary piping, flanges, connectors, indicators, sampling systems and vessel equipment.
Burkert is inviting process companies that are interested in benefiting from one its on-site clinics to contact Helen Christopher, Burkert UK marketing manager, to discuss a time and venue. Tel: +44 1453 731353; Email: helen.christopher@burkert.com
