Biologics Modular has created modular cleanroom technology for use in developing or manufacturing CGMP products, which can be moved between various research, development and production locations.
Legal firm Woodard, Emhardt, Moriarty, McNett & Henry has filed a utility patent application on behalf of the firm, which is based in Brownsburg, Indiana, US.
Clark Byrum, president and ceo of Biologics Modular, said the technology gives small companies and research parks have access to cleanroom capabilities that were once thought only to be available to large corporations.
“The ability to deliver cost effective, high quality manufacturing and laboratory facilities will enhance the progression of research, development, and small-scale manufacturing,” he said.
In a matter of months, any light industrial space can be converted into an operational CGMP production facility using Biologics Modular’s cleanroom and analytical laboratory designs.
