Beacon Hospital appoints Asgard Controlled Environments for cGMP aseptic compounding unit project

Asgard Controlled Environments has been appointed to carry out the turnkey design, build and qualification of the new facility

Asgard Controlled Environments, a cleanroom design and build company for the biopharma sector, has been appointed to carry out the turnkey design, build and qualification of a new cGMP aseptic compounding unit at Beacon Hospital. 

The pharmacy will be used to prepare individual patients’ chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies.

Over the last few months our design team have worked with Beacon Hospital’s Pharmacy design team to develop all aspects of the facility design

“Over the last few months, our design team have worked with Beacon Hospital’s pharmacy design team to develop all aspects of the facility design, ensuring it will operate efficiently and service Beacon Hospital’s compounding batch requirements. We have recently completed the DQ sign off for the turnkey design and will shortly be commencing the construction phase to deliver the facility for the hospital,” stated Asgard Controlled Environments in a LinkedIn post. 

In the coming months, Asgard Controlled Environments will work collaboratively with Beacon Hospital’s team to deliver a facility that will assist the hospital in delivering tailored preparations for their patients.
