The France-based manufacturer ABC Transfer is expanding into China through a new partnership with Shanghai HanKing Instrument and Equipment.
The agreement will see Shanghai-based HanKing support the distribution of ABC Transfer’s rapid transfer systems (RTS) across China.
Under the partnership, ABC Transfer aims to strengthen the local availability of its RTP and sterile transfer technologies while improving responsiveness and customer support for Chinese clients.
The partnership will also provide local commercial and technical support to pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech companies, and research organisations.
ABC Transfer said that the move reflects increasing demand in China for aseptic transfer technologies designed to support contamination control and regulatory compliance.
Founded in 2009, Shanghai HanKing Instrument & Equipment Co., supplies laboratory and industrial equipment to sectors including biopharmaceuticals, food production, chemicals, and research institutions.
The company has an established distribution network and provides logistics, technical support, and after-sales services throughout China.
The collaboration forms part of the company’s wider international expansion strategy.
In February, the company also expanded its pharmaceutical and biotechnology offering in the UK through a partnership with UK pharmaceutical containment provider Sychem.
