Zeal Clean Supplies, which is part of the Zeal Group, believes its ability to combine a controlled cleanroom environment with the use of additive-free raw materials, allows it to achieve this level of product.

Zeal manufactures a range of products for the pharma, medical, aerospace and food industries, which includes ultraclean polythene and high barrier packaging.

The Ultraclean Polythene is produced inside a Class 1000 cleanroom (clean to level 25MIL – STD – 1246C) and its raw material is virtually free from raw materials.

By combining the Ultraclean Polythene with polyester and the barrier properties of beam deposited aluminium oxide, Zeal is able to produce what it claims is the ‘cleanest and clearest’ high barrier packaging available today.

‘The combination of these laminates provide barriers against moisture and gases but also the cleanest possible environment in which to protect products against any form of particulate contamination and any form of chemical leaching caused by the outgassing of harmful chemicals associated with conventionally produced packaging,’ the company said.

Zeal also has a portfolio of laminated high barrier foil films, which are designed to offer a high barrier to moisture, air and light, including UV. They are also available with ESD properties and can be supplied plain or printed up to six colours.

Zeal has received the full BS EN ISO 9001-2000 accreditation.

The company is part of the Zeal Group headquartered in London, UK.
