Wrapid looks set to clean up

Wrapid Contract Services, a leading UK contract packer and specialist in flow, shrink and polypropylene wrapping, has completed a £140,000 installation of two cleanrooms to meet the demands of leading blue chip companies in the food and drink, and pharmaceutical sectors.

The 5,000 ft2 cleanrooms have been specifically built to provide customers with a clean environment that satisfies all aspects of food packaging legislation. In addition to food packing, the company's business includes contract packaging for multimedia applications, including DVDs, CDs and cassettes, and other items covered under the company's Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) accreditation. The cleanrooms and accreditations are part of the company's strategic plan to endorse existing customer confidence and attract a wider customer base both in the UK and Europe.
