Witt launches gas mixers for the production of synthetic air

Published: 27-Nov-2008

Witt, a gas safety, control, mixing and analysis supplier, has introduced a new generation of DIN EN 737-3 approved MG50, 100 and 200-2ME GB A gas mixers for the production of high purity (synthetic) air from oxygen and nitrogen for medical applications in hospitals and research laboratories.

The gas mixers are operated using two touch screens, which technologically associates them with Witt’s new MAPY gas analyser and Leakmaster leak detectors, and allows the gas pressure and gas concentration to be adjusted using a multi-lingual and easy to understand menu.

Using both screens it is possible to analyse the results of two independently operating integrated gas analysers at the same time, ensuring that the correct mixture of oxygen and nitrogen is being used in the production of high purity air. The mixing precision is better than +/- 1% abs. The capacity range for the MG 50-2ME GB A is 0 to approximately 58Nm3/hr
