Guardtech Cleanrooms are a leading provider of Controlled Environments; designing and delivering turnkey Cleanroom projects nationwide. Guardtech are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager to lead successful delivery of key projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery and management of multiple construction projects, ranging in value from £100,000 to £5 million, located nationwide, reporting to and supported by the Operations Director and in-house design & coordination team as well as directly employed structural and electrical installation teams.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of all projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Commit to and actively participate in a culture of continuous improvement
- Motivate the project delivery team and cultivate a culture of leading by example
- Manage, but always with the aim of exceeding the client’s expectation
- Take ownership
Requirements
- First and foremost, you will be enthusiastic, positive, dynamic and a strong team player
- Great educational background, preferably degree educated in the fields of technology, engineering or project management
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Track record as a project manager/junior project manager/project administrator
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience with CAD
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software
- Full UK Driving License and a willingness to travel
- Not afraid of long days if and when the job requires
Desirable
- A history of project managing site installation
- A history of working in Cleanrooms, HVAC, Construction or Installation
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Salary: TBA - dependent on experience
Bonus: 10% of annual salary based on sucessful project delivery
Holiday: 20 Days per year + Bank Holidays
Pension Contribution: 3% Employer
