Trading Solutions teams up for ESD workwear website

Supplier of high quality corporate clothing and workwear, Trading Solutions, has launched a new specialist website for the ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) market.

Static related damages are responsible for a large source of errors in electronics, especially semi-conductive components. Since damage caused by static can not be removed, it is important to prevent these shocks by wearing ESD clothing, Trading Solutions says.

The web-based supplier has teamed up with Fristads, Sweden’s leading manufacturer of premium quality workwear, to launch a new range of ESD clothing that is specifically developed for the manufacture and assembly of electrostatic sensitive products.

“We are delighted to be working with Fristads on the distribution of this new clothing range,” said Tim Sandford of Trading Solutions.

“The hallmark of this high quality workwear is the bound seam - a meticulous way of weaving carbon into the fabric. It ensures that the anti-electrostatic properties are more effective and longer-lasting, even after washing, than those garments that simply have a carbon coating.”

As well as becoming a key supplier to the microelectronics market, Trading Solutions recognises car plants will also benefit from the associated lint free products range.

“Manufacturers need to achieve the highest possible paint purity on newly painted vehicles. Since Fristads garments are made of filament fibres, no particles or fibres are emitted from them and the instances of paint imperfections are significantly reduced,” said Sandford.

The new website, www.specialistworkwear.co.uk, is the first of its kind dedicated to the supply of Fristads ESD & Lint Free garments. All products are guaranteed, meet all environmental and EN standards and the company will brand workwear in line with customer requirements.
