Thermal Transfer
Thermal Transfer is a specialist in the design and build of cleanrooms, containment suites and controlled environments.
Established in 1971 and now operating nationwide out of eight regional offices (including a new office in Ireland), the company offers a turnkey service that includes front end design right through to facility validation.
Working with Bouygues UK, its parent (a major construction company) Thermal Transfer is a provider to the total cleanroom market, able to deliver projects from £5,000 right up to £50m. Market sectors include pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare and life sciences.
Many of the 450 plus staff employed are professionally qualified building services engineers. The company also recently set up its first export office in Ireland. Managed by John Hewitt, it is now able to offer services similar to those provided in the UK. Working with a selection of preferred Irish suppliers, he will take cleanroom project from inception to validation.
Maximum energy efficiency in plant and utility systems is no longer an option; it has become an urgent necessity. Recognising this Thermal Transfer has established a team led by Peter Harrison who will carry out an energy audit and compile a report identifying any deficiencies that may lead to increased energy costs. In carrying out this work the company also considers cGMP compliance.
