HVAC and cleanroom systems manufacturer Termovent has introduced PRIME, a new generation of air handling units designed to support energy-efficient climate control across pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial and high-specification manufacturing facilities.
According to the company, the range was created through “years of engineering work, systematic research, and extensive testing under real operating conditions”.
A promotional video released alongside the launch highlights the modular construction of the units, integrated digital controls and the flexibility of the platform across multiple HVAC applications, including cleanroom and high-specification production environments.
The PRIME range includes three core AHU platforms: ENERGY PRIME, AQUA PRIME and COMPACT PRIME.
ENERGY PRIME has been developed for facilities with high fresh-air demand and continuous operation, including production plants, logistics facilities and large-scale commercial buildings.
The system incorporates a polypropylene plate heat exchanger with indirect adiabatic cooling and is designed to achieve heat recovery efficiency of up to 90% in accordance with EN 308 standards.
The system is available in two configurations: a STANDARD version with integrated hydronic heating and cooling coils, and a GENIUS version featuring a reversible heat pump integrated directly into the AHU.
AQUA PRIME has been designed for high-humidity environments such as swimming pools, spa facilities and wellness centres, where stable microclimate conditions and humidity management are required for long-term operation.
COMPACT PRIME targets projects with restricted installation space, including healthcare, residential and commercial developments.
The frameless construction and standardised component layout are intended to support faster installation and simplified maintenance while maintaining multiple heat recovery options.
Across the portfolio, Termovent said the units are compliant with ERP and EcoDesign requirements and feature modular construction, plug-and-play commissioning, building management system connectivity and remote monitoring capabilities.
The launch further expands Termovent’s activity in the cleanroom and controlled-environment market.
The company manufactures modular cleanroom systems for GMP and ISO-classified environments ranging from ISO Class 9 to ISO Class 1 and has delivered projects for pharmaceutical, healthcare and microelectronics applications.
Termovent, headquartered in Serbia and part of the Midea Building Technologies Climate group, has previously supplied cleanroom and HVAC systems for companies including Pfizer and pharmaceutical manufacturer Mint Pharm.
