Superior launches cleanroom consumables

Irish firm Superior Cleanroom Products has added new shoe covers and gloves to its range of consumables.

The Non-Skid polypropylene shoe covers are designed to provide optimum safety, with a sticky lacquer covering on the sole of the covers providing extra grip.

The shoe covers are available in regular or heavyweight versions, and their polypropylene material aids the filter of particles in controlled environments, Superior says.

Also released is the company's Dotted Palm Fit-ESD safe glove. According to Superior, the glove effectively eliminates the risk of damage to components as a result of static electricity, resulting in more effective and economical production in industrial working environments.

The safe gloves are manufactured from dust-free and lint-free material, making them ideal for use in electronic, cleanroom and medical industries, and they can be laundered for re-use without affecting the ESD safe quality of the gloves. The dotted palm aids extra-grip and control.
