Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Muscat, Oman, has issued a tender for the upgrade of its pharmaceutical production unit, with the aim of modernising its cleanroom facilities to meet international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
The scope of the contract encompasses the complete design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of GMP-compliant cleanroom areas, specifically for chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and centralised intravenous additive service (CIVAS) operations.
The contract is expected to be awarded in the third quarter of July 2025.

The selected contractor will inspect the existing facilities, make necessary modifications, and deliver modular cleanroom systems.
The project includes the supervision, commissioning, and validation of the upgraded production areas to ensure full compliance with GMP regulations.
Completion of the cleanroom upgrade is scheduled for December 2026.
