Wickham Laboratories has received a positive report from the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for GLP and GMP compliance after an inspection at its premises at Hoeford Point, Gosport, Hampshire.
The two-day inspection on 23 and 24 May 2012 reviewed the firm’s quality management system, organisation and personnel, as well as the new facilities validation and qualification. No critical or major observations were raised by the inspection team, with only a small number of minor improvements (Others) required to be addressed.
The inspectors acknowledged the degree of effort that had been put into relocating the laboratories to Hoeford Point and the firm was again commended on the level of technical detail recorded in test observations, and the thoroughness of its non-conforming work investigations write-ups.
The updated certification from MHRA is now available. The certificates are available for download as PDFs at the bottom of the Wickham Laboratories website on the 'Accreditations page' in its ‘Quality Assurance’ section.
