Stainless steel tool handles cut contamination

Steritool, supplier of stainless steel hand tools for sterile and critical environment processing industries, has introduced an all-stainless steel driver handle for its stainless steel maintenance tools.

Stainless steel hand tools are the most efficient and cost effective solution for maintaining sterility in the servicing of process equipment in a sterile environment, says the manufacturer. It requires no plating, which can generate particulate, to maintain its corrosion resistance. In the event of the surface being scratched or damaged, stainless steel forms a non-reactive, pure chromium oxide layer, protecting it against further corrosion without exposing ferrous surfaces that can contaminate a cleanroom environment.

Now, all-stainless steel handles on all-stainless steel screwdriver, hex driver, and nut driver shafts offer an alternative to traditional nylon handles. The solid stainless steel tools are virtually immune from deterioration, and thus act as another barrier between contamination and sterile equipment.

Stainless steel handles are currently available from stock on stainless nut drivers, ball hex drivers and hex bit drivers.
