Sensitive drying for fine chemicals

Designed for the sensitive drying of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals in small to medium sized batches, the new Vacuum Cabinet Dryer from KMPT UK is suitable for operation in laboratories, pilot plants, cleanrooms and isolation cabinets.

Product is evenly distributed on trays, which are loaded into the drying cabinet. Once the required drying temperature is reached, the cabinet atmosphere is evacuated. The developing vapour is discharged through the vacuum pipe, where fine dust is filtered out. After drying, pre-heated purge gas is conducted across the trays, then an automatic CIP programme cleans the cabinet ready for the next batch. Highly active substances are loaded into deep trays in a gate valve or isolation cabinet/booth. The trays are sealed with a special cover to make them dust-tight.
