China-based SCT Cleanroom Solutions has completed two orders in two different countries for the same client.
The cleanroom company delivered a 1*20GP (a 20-foot General Purpose) shipping container with construction elements for a cleanroom project in New Zealand.
Previously the same client had purchased a 1*40HQ (a 40-foot High Cube) cleanroom shipping container.
High Cube implies that the container has a greater height than a standard shipping container.
The contents of the 40HQ container was used to build the client’s composite cleanroom in the Phillipines in 2024.
“After the client successfully built the first cleanroom, they told us they were very satisfied with the cleanroom and will have the second one,” SCT stated.
SCT added that the second order went very “quick and smooth”.
The second cleanroom was built inside a mezzanine and is just like a clean warehouse built with cleanroom panels, cleanroom doors, cleanroom windows, cleanroom profiles and LED panel lights.
SCT explained that it decided to use 5m length handmade PU sandwich panels as cleanroom ceiling panels due to the 5m requirement, so no hangers were required to suspend cleanroom ceiling panels in order to reduce installation work on site.
Production and packaging took seven days, while shipping itself took 20 days.
