schülke and AM Instruments join forces to shape the future of life science

Acquisition strengthens contamination control and cleanroom solutions support for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries

Schülke & Mayr GmbH ("schülke") and AM Instruments today announce the acquisition of AM Instruments, one of Italy's leading specialists in contamination control and cleanroom solutions for the Life Science industry.

The acquisition represents another important milestone in schülke's Life Science growth strategy.

AM Instruments complements schülke's existing portfolio with a broad range of cleanroom consumables. Its strong technical capabilities, GMP-oriented culture, and highly customer-centric approach allowed AM Instruments to build an exceptional reputation across the pharmaceutical industry over the last thirty years.

Together, our future organisation will be uniquely positioned to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers across the entire contamination control value chain.

This partnership is founded on a common vision, a similar entrepreneurial mindset, and a deep commitment to quality, innovation, customer focus, and long-term value creation.

To ensure continuity for customers, partners and employees, Cinzia Pagani and Roberto Fossati will continue to support the company, working closely with the new organisation during the next phase of its development.

Patric Scheidner, Head of SBU Life Science at schülke

AM Instruments is exactly the type of company we were looking for to accelerate our Life Science strategy. Most importantly, we have found entrepreneurs who share our values and our ambition.
Both organisations are driven by the belief that sustainable success comes from enabling customers to solve critical challenges through expertise, quality, and partnership.
We are excited to write the next chapter of growth together.

Cinzia Pagani, President of AM Instruments

From the very beginning, this process never felt like a conventional transaction. It felt like two organisations discovering how much they had in common and how much they could achieve together.
We found in schülke a partner that understands our culture, respects our history, and believes in our vision.
That is why we are confident this is the right step for our employees, our customers, and the long-term development of AM Instruments.

Roberto Fossati, CEO of AM Instruments

Since founding AM Instruments, we have built the company around a simple idea: combining technical excellence with an unwavering focus on customer success.
In schülke, we have found an organisation that shares this philosophy.
By bringing together our complementary strengths, we create new opportunities for our employees, customers, and partners while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit and passion that have made both companies successful.
