Over 600m2 of Polyflor Mystique PUR heavy duty sheet vinyl and Polyclad Plus vinyl wall and ceiling cladding from Polyflor has been fitted in the Pharmacy Department of the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK.

Installed by Nigel Prosser Flooring of Nottingham, the floor and wall coverings were used to create impervious cleanrooms in the department's aseptic suite. Polyclad Plus was chosen for its Class 1 fire rating and a colour choice which provided a complementary colour match to the floorcovering. Non-directionally styled Polyflor Mystique was coved up the walls in the suite and welded to Polyclad Plus to create a continuous impervious surface. Available in 12 colourways, Polyflor says the flooring features a polyurethane reinforcement which, "combined with a superior closed surface finish can cut maintenance costs by up to 48%". Polyclad Plus is available in a choice of 10 colourways. Both floor and wall coverings meet the general performance requirements of EN 649:1996, are tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1 and certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 > 10kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass.
