PBSC gets a lift from Sweden

UK cleanroom manufacturing company PBSC has recently joined forces with an innovative engineering company from Sweden to import hygienic lifting equipment designed specifically for use in "clean-environment industries".

PBSC, which supplies cleanroom doors, vision panels, transfer hatches, pass-through chambers, emergency escape panels and cleanroom furniture, is now also able to supply a range of specialist lifting trolleys for material handling solutions from Svenema. Svenema specialises in clean-environment industries and designs and develops lift trolleys, platform lifts and electronic industrial lifters, which are manufactured in partnership with Swedish suppliers. The smooth, hygienic design of the Svenema lift makes it easy to keep the lifting trolley or lift table clean. This minimises accumulation of particles or micro-organisms and is suitable for the repeated application of cleaning agents and disinfectants. Lift capacity ranges from 40-300kg and all models can be customised to a client's specific needs. Svenema's MAXI is a heavy-duty lift trolley that offers a maximum load of 125-300kg and a lifting height of 190-1200mm, while measuring just 600 x 820mm. It has a continuously variable lifting speed of 0-120 mm/sec, and its stainless steel design ensures smooth surfaces and few joints. Accessories include tilts for easy and quick lifting and tilting of containers; reel lifters and roller platforms for the easy handling of heavy containers. Other options from Svenema include vessel lifting equipment; cylinder lifts; vertical lifts; mobile lifts; fold-down platforms; battery powered lifts and clamping modules.
