Parrett updates air sampler

Parrett has updated its MicroBio air sampler which was introduced in 1994 as the first low-cost, fully validated air sampler for bioaerosols.

Additional features on the MB2 include the option to use either 55mm contact plates or 90mm Petri dishes. The MicrBio will sample a user set volume from 25 to 2000 litres at flow rates of 100 litres/min. By using a selective agar media on the contact plate the user can identify specific problem organisms in the area under test and obtain a true quantitative measure of their concentrations in cfu/m3. To aid data analysis and report preparation, the samplers are supplied with PC software.
