The Taiwanese electronic component integration design and manufacturing specialist has opened the facility with Automated Production Equipment, Autonomous Mobile Robot, and Industrial Robotic Arm to not only lower labour costs but also enhance the efficiency and accuracy of material transportation on site

SINBON Electronics has held the inauguration of Industrial Miaoli Factory. This will mark SINBON's fourth manufacturing site in Taiwan.

The new factory is located in close proximity to SINBON Miaoli factory III, and within a ten minute drive from the other two sites. The new factory will focus on providing a wider range and more comprehensive services to its industrial customers.

SINBON's chairman, Joseph Wang, said: "Apart from expanding abroad, we have been contemplating on how to improve our manufacturing capacity in Taiwan so we stay flexible in the ever-changing macro environment. The newly completed Industrial Miaoli Factory will supply our customers in the high-end semiconductor and industrial field. As the Industrial Miaoli Factory opens, we hope to attract more local talent and reach new heights together."

Another highlight of the Industrial Miaoli Factory is ISO Class 4 and ISO Class 5 graded cleanroom

The factory will be implemented with Automated Production Equipment, Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), and Industrial Robotic Arm to better facilitate factory workers with their tasks. This implementation will not only lower the labour cost but also enhance the efficiency and accuracy of material transportation on site.

Industrial Miaoli Factory is only the beginning of SINBON's plan to automate all of its manufacturing factories around the globe.

Another highlight of the Industrial Miaoli Factory is ISO Class 4 and ISO Class 5 (10,000 and 100,000 maximum particles/m3 respectively) graded cleanroom. These cleanrooms will not only meet semiconductor customers' current manufacturing requirements but will also allow SINBON to provide a complete range of manufacturing services to its customers by undertaking higher spec and higher precision semiconductor equipment orders.

Going green

SINBON stated that, while providing services to its customers, the company is also determined to contribute to environmental preservation and a sustainable business operation. Through investing in equipment and employee training, factories will be able to lower their carbon emission and energy required, achieving effective use of the resource.

SINBON expects green production to be adopted at all of its factories, and through these adoptions, SINBON will take part in building a more sustainable future for our planet.
