Companies from across Asia have gathered in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka for 2023's Asia Pharma Expo.
Hosted at the International Convention City Bashundhara, this is the 14th outing of the exhibition, and it saw over 12,000 attendees from 28 different countries.
The conference targets those manufacturing pharmaceuticals in Asia, and the companies that service them. From regulatory compliance experts to maintenance engineering specialists.
Among these companies are naturally, some major cleanroom players.
India-based cleanroom engineers Fabtech Technologies were exhibiting at the event. The company stated: "[We] are sure our meetings will help us get together to embark upon some great pharma projects and live our vision of making medicines affordable and accessible."
Other representatives from the Indian cleanroom sector were Avant Garde Clean Room & Engg. Solutions (ACES), ILC Dover India, Nicomac Taikisha Clean Rooms, Enviro Technologies India, and Monita Industrial Corporation.

"Another memorable day with many senior industry professionals visiting the ACES stall at the Asia Pharma Expo in Dhaka," ACES stated.
There were also many representatives from China such as design & build expert Wiskind and air micro-pollution specialists Airkey. Wiskind even brought a brand new type of air return wall, one piece corner, HIGYSTEEL panel, and Endure panel to the exhibition.
Wiskind Senior Technical & Sales Manager, Taylor Han, said in a LinkedIn post: "Visitors are interested in products such as pharmaceutical processing machinery, packaging machinery and equipment, API additives and biotechnology instrument control equipment, laboratory instruments and equipment, etc. The exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors worldwide to communicate, display and sell related products."

Significant presence was seen from domestic companies in Bangladesh, but other companies came from across Asia from South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and more!
From outside of Asia, regional presence was seen from Denmark-based Ellab and Italy-based Steriline. Both providers of equipment for use in cleanrooms likely looking to increase their presence in the area.
Attendees are now looking to the 2024 event, which is likely to take place in March next year.
