New static dissipative sheet

Static control specialist, TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has announced a new improved permanently static dissipative flexible sheet that is ideal for producing flexible softwalls for cleanrooms, static sensitive areas and similar applications. Offering better clarity, light stability and improved strength compared with previous generation products, the new ECP 21140 sheet material delivers a range of desirable cleanroom characteristics including low offgassing, low particulate contamination and washability. The new ECP 21140 material is a permanently static dissipative clear polyester TPU sheet with surface resistivity of 109 /square making it ideal for use as a cleanroom softwall as well as flexible packaging, floor and table mats among other applications. ECP 21140 is based on an inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) alloy where a dispersed phase of static dissipative polymer is integrated within a host polymer. The host material maintains its physical properties while the IDP provides a dissipation path through the alloy.
