New offering of service pendants for medical clean zones

Howorth Medical has acquired the exclusive distribution rights for a sophisticated range of European medical service pendants of an advanced design, with product configurations to suit the operating theatre, endoscopy suite, recovery, antenatal and critical care unit.

One notable design feature enables equipment carriers and video monitor screens to be brought within the clean zone working area of an Ultra Clean Air canopy. Equipment carriers are of a three-legged construction, within which the shelves are kept level and stable, even under the heaviest load.

The critical care pendants are extremely robust and each arm can carry up to 250kg, with the addition of vertical lift being provided smoothly and quietly by an electro-hydraulic power unit. There is an option for the equipment carrier to be disengaged from the pendant to travel with the patient, who thereby retains full connection to their drug therapy at all times.
