New isolation unit offers flexibility

The containment division of Hosokawa Micron has launched the Stott Flexible Isolator.

The modular unit has a fully-coved stainless steel base section and can be fitted with various upper sections, ranging from an FDA compliant, flexible antistatic polyethylene bag/canopy to a rigid Perspex cover and a stainless steel canopy complete with glass windows. It can be used either as a one-man unit, or can be expanded into a multiple-section contained workstation. Lightweight, portable and compact, with good all-round visibility and an ergonomic design, the Stott Isolator is available in sizes from 1m x 500mm upwards. A range of air handling systems; CIP systems; internal lighting; filtration and rapid transfer ports are available.
