The NETZER GROUP, an Austria-based cleanroom engineering specialist, has completed the installation of two high-specification cleanrooms for Grieshaber.
The two cleanrooms are at the new Vessel Management Centre (VMC).
Grieshaber is a Germany-based transport and logistics service provider for the pharmaceutical, medical, dental and high-tech industries.
The project, completed within a year, provides a centralised facility for cleaning, maintenance, and repair of 900 cryogenic containers.
These containers are used to transport active pharmaceutical ingredients between production sites within the Boehringer Biopharma network.
A highlight of the project is its two-stage heat recovery system, which captures and reuses waste heat from the container cleaning process, resulting in energy savings of 50%.

This innovation reduces both operational costs and environmental impact.
The project involved a range of specialist trades, including steel construction, ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical engineering, and custom chrome steel fabrication.
The new facility strengthens Grieshaber’s operational efficiency while demonstrating Netzer Group’s expertise in energy-efficient, technically advanced cleanroom solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
