Multi-million dollar expansion

Anadigics, Inc., a supplier of wireless and broadband communications solutions, have announced the opening of a 10,000 square foot expansion to its semiconductor fabrication facility located at the Company's headquarters in Warren, New Jersey. The company invested approximately $10 million in the expansion, which doubled its fabrication capacity. The additional capacity will enable Anadigics to increase its production of six inch InGaP HBT wafers, which provide the basis of the company's integrated circuits used in power amplifier products for cell phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs). The expanded facility provides 'class 10' operation and is among the most advanced cleanrooms in the gallium arsenide semiconductor industry.
