Mollart Engineering invests in 4,000 sqft ISO Class 7 cleanroom

The UK engineering firm is expanding its cleanroom capabilities with a new facility designed to support a key customer’s anticipated growth over the next five years

The UK engineering company Mollart Engineering has announced plans to invest in a new cleanroom facility as part of an expansion to support future customer demand.

The new 4,000 sqft ISO Class 7 cleanroom will provide additional controlled manufacturing space, with Mollart stating that the facility will support one of its customers as it enters a period of growth over the next five years.

Mollart Engineering specialises in precision machining, assembly and testing for sectors including semiconductor, medical and aerospace, with existing capabilities including controlled manufacturing environments and cleanroom assembly services.

The company said the investment will provide the capability and capacity required to support the customer’s future requirements.

Mollart has not disclosed details of the customer, the location of the new cleanroom, the project value or the expected completion date.

The announcement follows the company’s continued focus on expanding its manufacturing capabilities to support precision engineering applications requiring controlled environments.
