Midea Group, a China-based electrical appliance manufacturer, has completed its acquisition of ARBONIA Climate, a division of ARBONIA, for an enterprise value of €760m.
ARBONIA Climate develops and produces energy-efficient indoor climate systems for buildings of all kinds.
The acquisition marks a major milestone in Midea’s growth strategy, reinforcing its commitment to the European market and enhancing its capabilities in the climate solutions sector.

In conjunction with the closing, Alexander Kaiss, CEO of the sold Climate Division, will also be stepping down from Group Management of the Arbonia Group.
