Microban, antimicrobial technology specialist, has appointed Darrell Taylor as Key Account Manager for Europe.
Formerly the Marketing Manager at Lubrizol, Taylor brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing, product management, and commercial negotiation. Darrell will apply his robust skill-set to help strengthen Microban's partner support mechanisms in Europe.
Graham Harvey, International Group Director for the Built-In business unit at Microban, said: "I am thrilled to welcome Darrell to the Microban team. His extensive account management experience within the chemicals industry will prove invaluable to our partner companies. I look forward to introducing Darrell to Microban's expanding customer base across Europe."
Starting out in the motorcycle industry, Taylor has enjoyed a fulfilling and diverse career spanning nearly two decades. In 2007, he joined Yamaha Motorcycles as a Product Development Specialist, later relocating to Italy to work alongside the company's engineering centre.
In 2010, Taylor moved to Triumph, the largest UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer. After a near-fatal accident in 2011 involving a severe neck fracture, he left the motorcycle industry and moved to Lubrizol, initially in a commercial role in the Driveline Department, progressing to a global marketing position.
