Marigold pharma glove gets a makeover

Marigold Industrial has updated its popular Suretech Pharma glove for the cleanroom and pharmaceutical sector by producing a new version in a neutral colour.

The non-latex, powder free neoprene glove, useful for anyone sensitive to natural rubber latex proteins, has been changed from its original blue colour to neutral.

With a Biogel coating, the 100% inspected Suretech Pharma gloves are comfortable to wear and easy to don and take off, Marigold says. Gamma irradiation sterilised, the glove is packaged in a powder free controlled environment to minimise particulate contamination and supplied in individually sealed pair packs.

The company says the colour change brings the Suretech Pharma in line with the rest of its range of gloves for use in cleanroom and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

UK country manager at Marigold John Thorne said the need to provide a non-latex glove with all the features and benefits of latex in terms of comfort, flexibility and user friendliness was the driving force behind the design and development of the glove.

“Suretech Pharma provides pharmaceutical companies with a high performance, viable alternative to traditional latex gloves and is particularly beneficial where staff are sensitive to natural rubber latex proteins. We decided to change the colour to ensure we have a consistent offering to our clients, across our highly successful pharmaceutical and cleanroom range,” said Thorne.

With a glove length of 300mm and double wall thickness of 0.38mm, the new glove is available in full and half sizes from 6 to 9.
