Franz Ziel to expand cleanroom containment machine capacity

Machining manufacturer Franz Ziel has started construction on its fifth plant in its Billerbeck, Germany, site, marking its latest expansion project

German-based cleanroom containment expert Franz Ziel, headquartered in Billerbeck, has started construction on plant 5 in the site.

Machining manufacturer Franz Ziel is most known for producing equipment for the areas of sterile manufacturing and freeze-drying technology for the pharmaceutical sector.

Plant 5 will be used to increase its capacity to produce advanced cleanroom and aseptic processing technologies for global distribution, catering to the pharmaceutical industry.

This latest expansion in 2024 follows the completion of Plants 3 along with a combined office and production hall in 2018 and Plant 4 with another production hall in 2021. 

In general, the Billerbeck site supplies advanced cleanroom technology and aseptic processing technologies worldwide.

Franz Ziel also provides GMP compliance services for the pharmaceutical industry.
